This podcast is about the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on schools. Three different perspectives are considered, those of an elementary school teacher, a student, and a professor. All three believe that COVID-19 creates an environment where the educational experiences are diminished. In the podcast, the professor discusses students describing their college experience during the pandemic as being like a funnel, with everything fun filtered out. The student stated that their mental health has deteriorated because of the virus, due to isolation and restriction of activities such as musicals. Overall, COVID-19 has definitely changed the landscape of the schools, primarily due to the lack of in-person activities. This has, in turn, made some students unmotivated, and has affected their mental health.
